Knowlton 5k Race

This picture is right after Kelle and I crossed the finish line and we gathered everyone up. Chayce was 5th overall and 2nd in his heat, Carrisa was 30th overall and 2nd in her heat. Ashlee was 80th overall and 11th in her heat. Kelle and I finished 122 and 121 (with JD in the stroller!) out of 350 people. Kelle just kept saying ( it doesn't matter if I win, I only have to cross the finish line.....TOTALLY TRUE!!!) But I pushed her a little bit....the little girl that took third...right before her...was pushed in a stroller most of the way and got out the last block to run.... so I think that shows how hard it is for these little guys! It was a most up hill run....until the last half mile.

Next week we are off to Kanab for the Mother's Day 10k race with out favorite cousins!!! We can't wait, although Kelle and JD will be meeting us at the finishing line.... wish us luck!!!!
