Forgetfulness

So I have a confession to make...and thank goodness mack can't see the blog from Iraq, even though that is why we created it. But it might freak him out to know that I am loosing my mind....not like as in totally go to the nut house, but as in literally "loose" my mind! I can't remember anything, but especially at the top of the list is my camera and my cell phone...poor kids, they are next! But forgetting my cell is like forgetting one of the kids, because they are usually calling me to pick them up, drop something off nor tattle on one of the others... (which is a necessity when you have five children.....mother needs to know all so that nothing is thrown at her when she is off guard! Like mom the cops are at the front door...should I open it?!)I have totally spaced it for the last week along with the camera..when going to Ash's pioneer program at school, Carrisa's softball games (though heaven knows there is still a dozen left to go!) and even the everyday moments like feeding the fourteen bummer lambs...another story for another day...yes real live lambs...all hand fed!)

Occasionally this forgetfulness attack is going into the names of people I know and love ( my own kids don't count..the minute we had two, their names became interchangeable!) I will be looking at someone and poof...no name is their new name! I came to understand a few years back that I was getting old and that people I had gone to school with, teachers and other acquaintances' names were surely slipping from my memory! (If by chance old school friends, you read this, still call me, email me or anything else....I would love to talk to you and it only takes a few good laughs to bring it all back! I wish I had Katie's - my cousins' memory - she can remember the pre-existence!) So to all those that meet me on the street....just remember that I am closer to 40 then 30, and the cane isn't far behind!

Anyway, I digress this was to be a post for Ashlee to tell her how wonderful her program was and to do it on such a trying and difficult day! You have stood tall and been strong, keep you chin up, sometimes only Heavenly Father understands the reasons! Your part was perfect and your dancing couldn't ahve been better! I love you! So here are a couple of cute pictures of ashee bug (as dad has always called her!) even though they aren't of your program, I am still proud of you! And Carrisa, I promise the camera will be at the next game! and for all of you that think that I am making up the bummer lamb thing...I will take a picture..even if I have to do it on the cell phone...if I remember it!

Hello! I didn't know you were a blogger! Or did I? I'm so confused these days. I'm going downhill fast, speaking of forgetfulness...did the girls come over for piano Wednesday? I fell asleep and remembered I was supposed to have piano the next day.
