Can you believe I took this picture.....it is amazing and I am inspired by it every time I see it. This was on top of the mountain that hides Petra.....below this was the actual city of Petra and the canyons that hide Petra...which in 2007 was added as one of the seven wonders of the world.
There had been dust in the air the whole day...and the next day we would wake up to find that we could not see a foot out in front of us....that a huge dust storm had enveloped the mountain...
...but you'll have to wait another day to see more...... just know that when I see this picture...every story of the Bible comes to life for me....I have been truly blessed to see this land (but so truly grateful to live in America!)
