Baghdad

And to think that I complain about our inversions and nasty weather! Mack was stuck in Baghdad for a week and could not get back to camp as the weather was "dusty". All flights were grounded which left him sitting in a "hanger" of sorts and waiting for the go ahead! We get snowy, rainy and even icey weather, but dusty weather????

The second picture is from overhead. Notice that their architecture is mostly the same as it has been for thousands of years.....mud bricks! Boy am I thankful for all that I have!
