Bountifu Harvest

So this is what I have been doing for the past two years...jk...the past two months. I still have applesauce and potatoes (my cousin brought all these little potatoes down from U-da-ho and they will go bad if I don't bottle them!) but I am a bit burned out!!! It all happened when everyone ran out of bottles and I had to order them...they took so long that it took all my steam away so to speak....

We still have green tomatoes in the garage turning red, so I should probably do those too....one of these days. But for now, PTA has been filling my book...for some reason I got two big projects, one for the elementary and one for the junior high within a week of each other. On a side note, don't forget to re-enroll your smiths card to your school...you have to do it every year or they won't give money to your school! And just say NO! to drugs (and PTA projects!)since I am doing red ribbon week for the junior high next week....oh yeah and halloween fell in the middle of that!!!!

If you really care what all we bottled, you can email me and I will tell you....but it is yummy and we have been loving the pickled peppercino's on our sandwiches and the peaches in peach pies...which I have the best recipe from my wonderful friend and neighbor...but it is highly secret.....so you will ahve to pay big bucks to get the secret!

This article and pictures doesn't even do the wonderful flavors and vairety of your canning justice. Take it from me because I am the lucky recipient of being the testor for most of the bottles of fruit, jams, relish, etc. They are wonderful. My hat is off to you! You are officially the wonder woman of Farmington Crossing. Love it! Alicia
