I AM THANKFUL......

· I am Thankful for a warm home and working plumbing!

· I am Thankful for the small thing called toilet paper...and soap

· I am Thankful for good food and stocked grocery stores, a fully equipped kitchen and pizza hut on a long day.

· I am Thankful for a beautiful view from my backyard that includes mountains, meadows and blue sky.

· I am Thankful for a husband, who has sacrificed so much for hi family and allowing me to a stay at home mom.

· I am Thankful for five beautiful and wonderful children who put up with a new "at home" mom and forgive my many failings....a good friend of mine has a saying on her blog "For me nothing is better then being their mom, for them, me being them mom is better then nothing!"

· I am Thankful for wonderful family members and friends that check on me daily and make it a point to ask how we are doing.....no matter where we are!

· I am Thankful for working cars, that are old and beat up and can handle a car backing into them.....

· I am Thankful that my old cars teach my kids a lesson.....even when they are ugly they are worth something! (haha I'll have to tell you latter about the incident in the church parking lot!)

· I am Thankful for wonderful and good neighbors (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!) that care for my children like they are their own and have brought them under their wings - including me!)

· I am Thankful for beautiful music, whether it be church music (Hillary Weeks is my favorite along with Celtic Hymns), country or rock (sorry kids....still hate the rap!) and how it can lift my spirits and make me appreciate the moment that I am in.

· I am Thankful for the internet and email and the connection that it gives me to Mack and all the rest of you! ( I don't know how women did it before this.....I would go crazy!)

· I am Thankful for a loving Heavenly Father that patient guides me along and calms my soul when I am lost, alone and my faith is weak.

· I am Thankful for a loving Elder Brother, Jesus Christ who made everything possible in this life to be better by laying down His life for me and Rising again.

· I am Thankful for the restored gospel and what it means to me in my life, that it gives me courage to keep the faith.

· I am Thankful for a wonderful community with many wonderfully bright and talented people that share their lives with me and give me a boost and a laugh on girls night out!

· I am Thankful for the opportunity to live in a free country that gives my children a chance at a n education (an a few hours of piece and quiet during the day! haha)

· I am Thankful for snow and rain and crappy weather so that I might fully enjoy the sun and heat on my face!)

· I am thankful that we have brave men and women that defend and protect our country despite what their fellow countrymen say and think.....

· I am Thankful, for a best friend who makes it possible for me to breathe every day, to smile in the face of adversity (not that we have seen much, thankfully!) to laugh at myself and to crack stupid jokes that no one else would understand. That makes the minutes whisk by until we get to be together again......I am Thankful for a husband that still loves me (rolls and all) and my idiosyncrasies after 15 years of marriage and calls me a dork and says it with more love then I can fathom.

This is a picture of the mayors toilet .........the little jug is to wash off your hand after you have used the hole.....their is no toilet paper.......I am THANKFUL!
